Welcome!!!

Hi, I’m Sydney! I recently graduated from UW–Platteville with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and a Pre-Veterinary emphasis. During my time there, I was active on the Women’s Rugby Team and was honored to be named an All-American in 2023. I was also a member of Sigma Alpha, an organization dedicated to cultivating professional women in agriculture—an experience that strengthened my passion for service, leadership, and the ag industry.

When I’m not on the rugby field or spending time with friends or family, you’ll likely find me out duck or pheasant hunting, kayaking, exploring new trails with my boyfriend and dog, tending livestock, fostering rescue dogs, or perfecting a new muffin recipe. My faith is also an important part of who I am—I’m a proud Lutheran and an active member of my church community. It keeps me grounded and reminds me to appreciate the beauty and blessings in everyday life.

Somewhere along the way, I realized my iPhone storage was constantly full of photos from all these adventures. That’s when it clicked—I wasn’t just taking pictures; I was preserving the beauty I saw in everyday life. Growing up on a farm in southeastern Wisconsin, studying in the southwest, and now living in the northeast, I’ve been surrounded by the incredible scenery, people, and animals that make this state so special.

After completing a self-guided photography course, I transitioned from phone photos to camera work and began exploring all types of shoots. Whether it’s portraits, outdoor adventures, or candid moments, my goal is to help freeze time and capture memories that last forever. There’s something truly special about holding a photograph that brings you right back to a moment—and I’m honored to help create that for others.

To capture authentic moments that celebrate the love in families, animals, and communities and to preserve memories that can be cherished for generations.
